Wga Coa
why is it that the product key used to install xp is different from what it is on the COA?
i bought my pc pre-installed with xp ,,and i had a COA(certificate of authenticity),where there was a product key printed...i belived that the printed product key was used to install xp until i used a cd key reader to find out that the key is different...
i mean the key in COA is different to what is used to install...
Anybody have any ideas to what is the reason behind it??
note:my copy of xp is perfectly genuine...i have also installed WGA tool to find out.if it is not.....
it also passed the gunuine validation while downloading something form MICROSOFT...
i am not feeling bad...i just want to know why do i have 2 different product keys for xp..

Think your upset I just bought a new laptop and desktop they both came installed with no Cd's at all not even a recovery Cd. The newer one have a recovery system built in on the main page upon booting. If you have problems contact HP chat support and they will run you through the process.
