Can anyone recommend a good veterinary hospital in Los Angeles?
My dear little Pookie need treatment for failing kidneys and respiratory infections. It must be admitted to a veterinary hospital for hands on treatment and observation. Someone Can recommend a veterinary hospital in the Los Angeles area, where people really love animals, want to help animals and have no dollar signs in their eyes?
If you can make the short trip, I highly recommend VMSG (Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group) in Ventura. I took 2 of my cats there. They are essentially a veterinary hospital-referred, but if you have an emergency, you can go right in. They have everything your cat needs to determine exactly what is happening and the best treatment. These doctors are surgeons, oncologists, neurologists, etc. - the most beautiful that is, and they have an excellent staff 24 hours there. This is a great place and a wonderful place to take your pet in trouble! I can not say enough about them. I have a cat who got there a scanner for his cancer and they are so compassionate there you go love the doctors and they feel deeply for your animals. I took my other cat who has kidney disease and hypercalcemia here they knew exactly what to do. change of diet, fluids-Q (where I manage all day - he is off his hypercalcemia completely). In addition, since your baby will probably need fluids under-Q for life, ask your veterinarian to authorize your purchase of the site Fosters & Smith. Instead of paying $ 12 - $ 25 per bag 1000ml, I only pay $ 29.00 for FIVE 1000ml bags with free shipping (if you buy more than 4 bags). It must be authorized by your vet, though. The VMSG is where I would recommend anyone to go. They are on the right of 101 and not too far a drive. I drove 2.5 hours twice for my cats to get there. (I'm near Pismo Beach)
